Football Concussions

Concussions have been a major problem in the NFL ever since the first game played.

With the new technology associated with the NFL to make the game safer to play it still does not make it safe.  However with the new helmets that developed once in a while and new concussion protocol such as IMPACT testing, it has caused less concussions in the NFL.  But the questions still remains, can coaches, players, and NFL prevent concussions?
As long as contact football exists there is no such thing a safe football unless the league decides to play flag football.  But the NFL is trying their best to make it safer.  With new rules changes every year and heavier fines to players that break those rules.
As the most watched sport in America, football will continue to entertain its fan with ferocious hits that gets the crowd all pump up.  In the future, hopefully the game will become safe in a way that no player will suffer with psychological problems.

Lincoln

Image result for lincoln movie

I chose to do my paper on Lincoln because I just thought the movie would be interesting.  The movie is pretty much about Lincoln's last four months of his live.  He is trying to end the civil war as soon as possible in order to decrease the heavy casualties that already exist and he is trying to pass the 13th amendment.

This movie is more than just a history of Lincoln, it really gives the viewer a first person point of view that Lincoln had during his life.  The troubles he had to overcome and try to make everyone happy.

In my opinion I enjoyed this movie for a few reasons.  I like to watch war movies and Lincoln is a great one to watch.  Initially when I watch it I thought the acting cast did a great job portraying their characters especially Lincoln.  Daniel Day-Lewis looked almost like Lincoln, which was great to watch.  Last but not least I like to learn about history and watching this movie made me realize what Lincoln went through.  It is almost as I have experienced it first hand.  Awesome movie!

Think your emails are private? Think again

In Andy Yen's ted talk, "Think Your Emails are Private? Think Again" he explains that when people send emails to each other, it is not a private conversation.  Instead, corporations and government officials are able to see each message being sent.  With that said, most people would feel uncomfortable with other people reading their private conversations, so Yen has establish a way to entirely have a private conversation via emails by developing a website called ProtonMail that sends encrypt messages.
